Marlow Teacher of the Year

MES is pleased to announce that our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year is  Mrs. Amanda DiSalvo. 

My husband Kevin and I have lived in Effingham for 19 years. We have 2 children. Caden is 16 and a junior at ECCA. Caroline is 13 and in 8th grade at South Effingham Middle. As a family, we love camping, boating, going to the lake or the beach, and vacationing when we can. Personally, I love to read in my free time and try to share that passion with my students. 

I am from Statesboro and graduated from Georgia Southern in 2000. While teaching, I continued my education and obtained my Master's and Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern University.

I feel it is very important to provide a supportive, comfortable, and loving classroom where challenges can be attempted and growth can be seen. I look forward to serving as Marlow's 2024-25 Teacher of the Year.
