4-H empowers youth and adults to work together to create a better world. As part of our 5th grade classrooms, an Effingham 4-H representative visits each month to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Georgia 4-H’s mission is to help young people learn, develop life skills, and become self-directed, productive, and contributing members of society. Through activities focused on agriculture, the environment, leadership, communication, food and nutrition, health, and citizenship, our students are gaining skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
